Straw gondolier or canoutier hat. Also perfect for nautical, beach, farmer or scarecrow costumes. The canotier is the typical hat of gondoliers and sailors, but its use also became very popular in the summers of the early 20th century, by the middle and upper class, when they went out on excursions, picnics or outdoor events.
